Skin Tight is the sixth album by The Ohio Players and their first recording for the Mercury record label. The album signified a turning point in the group’s career towards more funky rthyms. Produced and recorded in Chicago, with Barry Mraz as recording engineer, Skin Tight was the second of five Ohio Players albums that were also available in quadraphonic (4-channel stereo). The quad mix is only available in the 8-track tape format.
